  • Brad


    — Owner, Head Coach Crossfit & Krav Maga

    Brad is a Coach and Co-Owner of Crossfit One World.

    Brad obtained his first CF Level 1 in 2007. He holds a black belt rank in Krav Maga, Kenpo, Hosinsul, and Tae Kwon Do. Brad has fought for a national kickboxing title and his fights have been televised on ESPN.

    Brad has been actively coaching and participating in martial arts and fitness for over 30 years. Brad is one of the owners of One World Self Defense and Fitness.

  • James


    —Co-owner, Lead Instructor Krav Maga

    James is co-owner and co-founder of One World Self Defense and Fitness. James is Head Coach of the Krav Maga Program.

    James holds a Black Belt in both Tae Kwon Do and Krav Maga. James has training in Jiu-Jitsu, Eskrima, Kempo Karate, and Muy Thai kickboxing. He’s coached boxers and has also has been in the ring 10 times himself. James was a late bloomer beginning his martial arts career at 32 and has close to 25 years experience overall.

  • Raz


    Instructor— Crossfit

    Raz is a crossfit athlete, trainer and an olympic weight lifting coach. He has been a coach at One World since 2007.

    Raz is an exceptional athlete in many disciplines: competitive skiing, rock-climbing, professional bicycle racing, surfing, kayaking and shuffle board.

    He is known for his coaching style that emphasizes effective technique for beginners to experienced fitness levels.

    Maria is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and the Gymnastics Coach at One World. Maria is a retired Police K9 Officer and holds the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps (reserve). She graduated from CSU Hayward with a B.S. in Administration of Justice, and an A.A. in Graphic Design from Silicon Valley College. Maria holds a brown belt in Shito-Ryu Martial Arts. Maria is a former collegiate gymnast with CSU Hayward (Cal-State East Bay).

  • Diane

    Diane E. Stuart

    Diane started CrossFit at One World in the fall of 2012 and after competing for the first time in January 2013 at the NorCal Masters competition, decided CrossFit was going to be an integral part of her life. Diane is a 3-time NCAA Collegiate National Discus champion and competed in the 1984 Olympic Trials.

    Diane won the 2016 NorCal Master’s competition and is a two-time Reebok CrossFit Games athlete.

    Diane finished third in the world at the 2016 Games in the Ladies Masters 50-54yrs division.

    Diane’s passion is mentoring and helping others to realize their full potential and to ensure fitness is an integral part of every day life.


  • Myles


    Instructor — Crossfit

    Myles is a coach at One World and has been a member since 2010. He is a Marine Corps veteran who spent 8 years touring bases on the east and west coasts. His deployments include humanitarian operations in Thailand and a combat tour in Iraq. Myles has always had an active interest in fitness, playing various sports throughout high school.

    In 2009, he became a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. In 2010, Myles discovered CrossFit and CrossFit Football, which have developed him into a better athlete. He is looking forward to obtaining his Crossfit Level 1 certification later this year.

  • Chris “Die-Hard” M

    Originally from the Pacific North West, I have played sports at various levels ending at Oregon State University. Through sports I have learned “Strength is King and Conditioning is the Queen”. In order to tap your true potential one must equally coincide with the other.
    I started my Crossfit journey in 2012 and know I still have a long ways to go but I love and embrace every challenge that I encounter. If I can help anyone with their journey into a fitter/stronger lifestyle I personally feel it is an honor to be involved with your journey.

    Played numerous sports such as Volleyball, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field Thrower Shot Put, Discus & Javelin during high school years. After high school, I attended Foothill College and continued my college at University of Phoenix-San Francisco Campus.
    I discovered Crossfit 5 years ago. CrossFit is my passion and working for One World has opened up my opportunity to share my passion to the community. My goal is to make One World a place where good times and hard work collide head on. CrossFit One World is more than a gym to me. It is a place where you can leave your worries at the door, train hard, and see results. We are a community at One World and we look forward to each new addition to the family.

  • Ron


    Instructor — Crossfit

    Ron discovered Crossfit in 2013, after a lifetime of participating in various sports and fitness activities. A self-described fitness nerd, he completed his Crossfit Level 1 certification in September 2014, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance certification in January 2015, and coached at his former gym, until joining the One World community in August of 2015.

    As a Master’s division athlete and competitor, Ron is always striving to improve in all aspects of fitness, and he wants to set a positive example that anyone, regardless of age, can achieve and maintain a high level of fitness throughout their lifetime.

    Chris Hinton discovered his love of weight training and athletic performance while playing high school football. He learned about fundamental athletic performance on and off the field. He took the challenge of joining the U.S. Marine Corps and enlisted directly after high school.

    In 2010, Chris found Crossfit during his 5 year service as a Marine. Chris became serious about Crossfit. After completing his service, he obtained his Crossfit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1). Chris is currently studying business at Ohlone College and looking forward to transferring to a university within the next year. Chris will be attending the Crossfit Football seminar this year.

    I come to One World all the way from the East Coast, originally from Boston, MA. I started doing Crossfit in Djibouti Africa three years ago. I didn’t play too many sports or work out at all, but I needed an all-encompassing fitness program and Crossfit fit the need perfectly. When I returned from my deployment I needed to find a gym closer to home and One World was down the street!

    Being so far from home, I appreciate the community and group of friends that I have made at One World. It’s a great second family and I love coming there every day! Currently I work in the Rescue Wing at Moffett Field in the United States Air Force. I have served for ten years and I recently obtained the rank of Master Sergeant. I obtained my Crossfit Level 1 trainer certificate in May 2016 and I am excited to help my fellow gym members in any way possible!

    Instructor — Crossfit

    Allen Discovered crossfit while attending U.C Davis in 2012 while looking for training that would help him return to full form after knee surgery from a basketball related injury. He continued his training at Crossfit One World after graduating with a B.S in electrical engineering and as he developed his passion in Crossfit based training methodology he went on to acquire his crossfit level 1 in 2014.

    What he enjoys most about crossfit is seeing people achieve their goals and helping them through the process that he once also went through to become the athlete he is today. Allen continues to program workouts that challenege the members at one world and leading them to becoming stronger and well rounded athletes. His passions include competing in local crossfit competitions, olympic lifting, basketball, outdoor activities and exploring, and tinkering with the latest technologies. Allen is currently finishing his master’s in Electrical Engineering at San Jose State.

  • Inder


    Instructor — Olympic Weightlifting

    Bachelor of Art from UC San Diego
    Current Masters Student at San Francisco State University
    USA Track and Field level 1 (will complete in February 2017)

    Inder joined CrossFit One World in the Summer of 2015 after graduating from UCSD and returning home to Union City. He began weightlifting at UCSD after his collegiate track and field career was cut short due to injuries. He trained and competed with UCSD’s weightlifting and powerlifting team, “Triton Barbell”.

    Inder is currently the assistant track and field coach at Chabot College and has coached athletes to Conference, Nor Cal and State titles. Through coaching Inder believes he has gotten a better understanding of sport and training which has made him a better athlete overall. Inder hopes to continue to develop as an athlete, while helping other reach their maximum athletic potential.

    Instructor — Yoga

    Justin is certified under the Frog Lotus Yoga 200 hour program and has been teaching yoga since February 2014. Justin believes in the yogic philosophy, body alignment, breathing, and nurturing motivation. His goal is to be gentle but firm so all yogis may evolve in their personal practice. The belief is in building the quintessential, prime, or ideal yogi. Strategy, strength, focus, and determination are what drive his classes.

    Justin’s background in weight loss, fitness, and Crossfit are what build the class structure, but it’s always yoga at the foundation. His knowledge of the body has come from eight years of massage therapy as an occupation and he uses this as a tool to modify his classes to accommodate fluctuating diversities.   • Donato


    Head Coach – Boot Camp

    Coach Donato is an energetic, passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced strength and conditioning boot camp instructor. He is also a cardio boxing and cardio kickboxing instructor. He has conditioned amateur and professional fighters in strength, conditioning and speed training.

    He takes pleasure in working with people of all fitness levels and helping them pave the path to a healthier, fit person while having fun!

  • Hermann


    Instructor — Bootcamp

    Coach Hermann has been a personal and group trainer for over 4 years. He loves programming high intensity interval training (HIIT), agility and circuit training while incorporating barbell and dumbbell strength. He believes this type of training builds mental and physical strength in achieving the ultimate health and fitness goals for all ages!

    Hermann was involved in various sports including football, swimming, tennis and golf while studying at Humboldt State University and now at San Jose State University. He is currently a fitness instructor for Acres Elementary School in San Lorenzo for ages K-5.

  • Alex


    Instructor — Cardio Kickboxing

    Unlike traditional cardio kickboxing classes where people burn calories by punching and kicking in the air without any strength and stability work, Core kickboxing incorporates proper stretching methods, important core strengthening holds, compound workouts and a selected arrangement of strikes and defensive applications. We will practice some of the basic Krav Maga defensive and offensive moves and cover a wide range of functional full-body exercises. Core Kickboxing will also include the use of kettlebells, medicine balls and elastic bands.

    Coach Alex Dilone has 15 years of experience In the fitness industry and has worked as a strength coach for top companies such as Snap Fitness, Club Sport, Club One and LA Fitness. Alex was named the 2007 trainer of the year by Club Sport, and he was part of the award winning training team of Snap Fremont in 2011. His other achievements include training high school, Junior Olympian and pro athletes to become champions in their particular sport. He has earned certifications from N.A.S.M (National Academy of Sports Medicine), the C.H.E.K institute and currently through I.F.A (International Fitness Association).

    of classes with various local instructors.
