Navasana (Boat Pose) – To strengthen the abdomen, spine and the hip flexors. Start by sitting with the toes in front, heels lifted. Slightly hug the buttocks and lift the pelvic floor (bathroom muscles), gently pull the navel and hug the rib cage, lift and shine your heart forward. Relax jaw and shoulders. Balance on sitting bones/tailbone tripod. Inhale, lift the shins, press through the balls of the feet. Exhale. Inhale, open the elbows and offer the palms and fingers. Exhale. Inhale, shine the heart. Exhale. Inhale, smile. Exhale, smile.
